Device Permissions

Yonder may request the following device permissions, all of which are optional:

Camera Access: Used to display a live camera preview as the app background. The camera feed is displayed locally and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted. If denied, a gradient background is shown instead.

Location Access: Used to calculate distances and bearings from your current position to cities around the world. Location data is processed locally on your device and is never stored or transmitted. If denied, you can use "Explore Mode" to select any city as your origin point.

Photo Library Access: Used only when you choose to save a captured photo. Photos are saved directly to your device's photo library and are never transmitted to us.

Third-Party Services

Yonder retrieves city information summaries from Wikipedia's public API. These requests are made directly from your device and do not include any personal or identifying information.

Data Storage

Yonder stores only your preferences (such as preferred language and distance units) locally on your device. This data never leaves your device and can be cleared by uninstalling the app.

Children's Privacy

Yonder does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13 years of age. The app does not require any personal information to function.
